Hubbie and I went to Washington, DC last Saturday. We were having cabin fever and we needed to get out of the house. It was still really, really cold but we just bundled up (about 3 layers of clothes for me) and off we went.
When going to The Mall in DC, it’s really advisable not to bring your car. It’s always a pain to find parking and when you do, the day’s almost done. So hubbie and I would always park at the Silver Spring station of the Metro train, buy all-day passes and off we go. For $7.50 we get to go around DC – by train and bus for the whole day. For that price, we were able to go to the Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian Museum of American History and Chinatown.
This was taken in the Metro Station on the way home.
