The State Fair always makes you feel like a kid again, with all the rides they have. Hubbie’s nephews and niece enjoy the free rides they get (we buy them wrist tags that let them in to all the rides).
Last year they had a wonderful time catching all the rides – sometimes over and over and over again. It’s always cool seeing their cute faces light up when they pass you while they’re riding the carousels.
I think the most dramatic and romantic ride for me would always be the merry-go-round. It maybe because as a little kid you always wanted to own a pony. I wasn’t really sure how I’d be able to do that since we lived in the city when I was a kid and there was no place that it would fit in our tiny apartment, but back then it still made sense to me to have one.
