I used to love riding my bike when I was young. I learned how to ride it on the busy streets of Pasay City. Needless to say, that’s where I earned the nerve, one time, to go to the Cultural Center in Roxas Boulevard with my friends, no sweat. I felt like super girl battling all the jeeps and buses on the way there. Of course, when my mom found out that we went there, the next scenes with her so mad made me feel like Trudis Liit.
I still want to own a bike today. Its for health reasons now more than anything. But I need to find a place where I can do it safely. I don’t think I’m as Evil Knievel-ish anymore as I used to be.
I must be getting old…
